Welcome to the Baptist Church Loan Corporation (“BCLC”) web site. Who are your current financial partners? Do they know your church? Do they understand your ministry? Are they financially strong? What is their purpose?

The BCLC has been serving Baptist churches through the ministry of finance for almost sixty years. The BCLC’s sole purpose is to provide financial assistance, through the making of low interest loans, to Baptist churches so that they can obtain the necessary land, worship and education facilities needed for their Kingdom Building efforts.

Listed below are some interesting facts about the BCLC:

• The BCLC has provided over a half billion in loans to Baptist churches since it was started in 1952.
• The BCLC is a non-profit, self supporting Baptist corporation. All of the BCLC directors and corporate officers are members of Baptist churches.
• The BCLC, based upon capital adequacy ratios, is at least five times stronger than most commercial banks.
• The BCLC estimates that there are approximately 150,000 per week worshipping in BCLC financed church facilities.

In 2012, the BCLC will be expanding its ministry to include Baptist churches located in select areas of Oklahoma and Mississippi that are supporting their local Baptist association and their state Baptist convention.
